Donna Aja

Lakeland native, born and raised, and now raising my two precious kids in this fantastic city. I graduated from Lakeland High School in a year somewhere between the time people used manual pencil sharpeners and before cell phones started becoming widely used. After high school, I went to The University of South Florida where I chose to switch majors several times because, let’s be honest, deciding what you want to do for the “rest of your life” is hard! Let’s just say I am knowledgeable in many areas and only a few classes short of a Business Degree, an Education Degree and a Psychology Degree. In 2013, I earned my Bachelors in Criminal Justice and Sociology. I used those skills in managing my children on a daily basis as a stay at home mom for 8 years. When they started school, I decided that I would go back to my original passion which was real estate and helping people. One of my first jobs was working as a Realtor’s assistant and from that point, I have always had the heart to help others find their dream home and secure their biggest investment. I enjoy spending time with my family, shooting, surfing, cars, volunteering and just being at the beach. I am a very down to earth person and enjoy working with people from all walks of life. I listen carefully to people which is important when it comes to helping them with what they truly want. Your dream is my dream – so let’s make it happen!

Alysia Cortes

Although I am a Michigan native I have been calling Lakeland “home” since my family relocated here in 1983. I attended local schools and graduated from Lake Gibson in 2000. I am very knowledgeable of Lakeland and the surrounding areas and have made many long-standing connections within the community over the years. Around 2001, while in college,  I began working in the real estate industry as an administrative assistant. That “job” through college grew into a passion for the industry and blossomed into a career. I have gained over 10 years of experience in residential, commercial and industrial real estate while working behind the scenes.  My heart to help others, the love for my community and the passion for real estate led me to become a Realtor. I am a proud wife to an amazing husband, Carlos, who has been serving our community himself as a Lakeland Police Officer for the past 12 years. We have 4 children: Yulian (15), Jemuel (11) and our set of twins, Aliyah & Isaiah (5)!! We are very family oriented, love sports, food, enjoying time with friends & everything in between! As a “LEO family” we are also very active in the Law Enforcement Community. I am a full-time, passionate & dedicated Realtor ready to represent you, your family and friends with ALL of your real estate needs!!!

Matt Chandler

I was lucky enough to have been born and raised right here in beautiful Lakeland, Florida! I graduated from the University of South Florida in 2011 as a member of the Pi Gamma Mu honor society. I served in the United States Air Force for six years and was stationed in Homestead, Florida while working with Egress Systems on F-16’s for the 482nd Fighter Wing. Prior to obtaining my real estate license, I worked for a large auto insurer in Central Florida for 7 years and worked my way up into multiple management positions that taught me a great deal about customer service and how to best be there to support someone in oftentimes very difficult and stressful situations. I have a three-year-old son who is the absolute best thing in my entire life! Any free time we have, you can usually find us out fishing and exploring on our boat in Tampa Bay, playing at the park or feeding the ducks near our house in Downtown. I am truly and completely invested in the Lakeland area. My experience in the customer service industry, attention to detail learned throughout my time in the military and my familiarity with the Lakeland area will be a great benefit to both buyers and sellers alike.

Richard Eijo

Richard Eijo, a native Floridian & Ninja, was born and raised in Miami where he was able to mix with an international culture that instilled in him a global awareness that he uses in his real estate career today. In Miami, Eijo was an accomplished chef where he worked at some of the country’s finest hotels and restaurants. There, he instilled, in himself, a tremendous work ethic as well as a great pride in offering top notch customer service to all that had patroned his culinary establishments. Richard has been able to parlay his talents that he gained in the culinary field into his real estate career, offering second to none in customer service. Eijo relocated to central Florida after visiting family that had moved to the area and fell in love with scenery as well as the people. There, he had the opportunity to work with John Elliott and dove head first into real estate, devoting himself to his new career as he did to his previous profession. That determination lead him to be one of the area’s top agents.

John-Michael Elliott

John-Michael Elliott, a native Floridian, was born in Broward County. Growing up being a part of a large family, John-Michael spent Sundays with family having breakfast and watching the sun come up. He now realizes this gave him a solid base and a great sense of just how important families are. While living in Lake Placid Florida with his family, John-Michael found he had a love of computers and spent his time managing his own computer store. He, then, ventured out and became interested in Real Estate first becoming IT Manager for Lucero, a Real Estate Management Software Company that managed entire brokerages. This position gave him the opportunity of traveling all over the United States to train brokerages on how to run Lucero’s program. After a couple years, John-Michael decided to see more of this great state and along with his middle school sweetheart; he married and moved to Lakeland where he now calls his home. Once he settled into the Lakeland area, he was hired as a Computer Technician and quickly moved up the ranks to become a Relocation Director for two years. It was at this time that John-Michael and his wife decided to start their family with their first child. John-Michael was asked by a co-worker to venture out and become part of a new realty company as an apprentice. John-Michael was eager to be a part of a company who promoted the values of family and close friendships. He has since added another addition to his family and enjoys the life he has made here in Lakeland with his wife and children. John-Michael takes it very serious in guiding other families, like his own, in making one of the largest investments you can make.

My husband’s job has transferred us to different states and cities and each time we went through the process of finding a home and sometimes selling a home. So, I’ve experienced this journey from every angle! Sometimes the experience was great, sometimes not so much fun. But each time I learned, and I continue to learn even more now that I’m a Realtor.

I love helping people walk through the process of finding that perfect place to live or to enable them to move onto whatever is next by selling their home. My job is to do my best to make it as stress-free as possible. I make it my mission to help you and make this exciting journey a pleasurable experience!

Debbie Hannifan

Meet Debbie Hannifan. As a Lakeland native, Debbie is told practically daily, “You look so familiar, where do I know you from?” Her passion for real estate started early in life as the daughter of a contractor and properties owner. She spent many days and weekends on construction sites, cleaning properties between tenants, or riding along with her parents scouting for the next up-and-coming area for development. As an adult her passion has only continued to grow. The last two projects being building a house “from the dirt up” and renovating a historic home in Downtown Lakeland’s Lake Morton Historic District.

Debbie’s diverse background translates into a rewarding experience for her clients. Across decades of business experience, Debbie has a true enthusiasm for getting to know her clients and seeking to understand their unique needs and desired outcomes. Her success stems from quality customer service, constant communication, strong attention to detail, and a highly driven work ethic. It is Debbie’s belief that in order to effectively match sellers and buyers with the homes of their dreams, you must live, dine, work, and play in the area because you are selling a lifestyle that you live yourself. Debbie and her her husband Jay, and twin sons Nathan and Noah do all these things in Lakeland and the greater Polk County area. In the time between, Debbie enjoys trips to the beach, running with friends, and gardening in her butterfly garden. Call Debbie today to discuss how she can help you make your next move!

Amanda Hillyard

At the age of two, I moved to Lakeland with my loving parents and three siblings. I became the first graduating class, of all four years, from George Jenkins High School and have been in the hospitality business for 23 years. I have forever had an understanding and love of real estate, as my dad has been a contractor in Lakeland my entire life. I love my family, friends and especially my two fur babies. Meeting new people and/ or spending time at the beach are things I would daily, if possible.  My mission is making your dream home a reality. Let’s go confidently in the direction of your dream and live the life you’ve imagined!

Kristen Hunter

I’ve lived in Lakeland since 1982, so I’ve learned a lot about what Lakeland and Central Florida have to offer.

After 8 years of working as an assistant for a few of Lakeland’s most excellent REALTORS® and gaining experience and knowledge about the Real Estate profession, I decided it was time to get my own license in 2012. I value each and every client as I have worked with them and learned a lot through the ups and downs of the Real Estate market over the past 10 years. I also have a very special place in my heart for our military members, their family, and our veterans. Both of my Grandfathers served in WWII, and my Husband is a former Marine. I have earned the nationally recognized Military Relocation Professional (MRP) Certification. The National Association of REALTORS® confers the MRP certification to REALTORS® who want to help military personnel and veterans find housing solutions that best meet their needs and allow them to take full advantage of their military benefits. When military staff and their families relocate, the services of a Real Estate professional who understands their needs and timetables can make the transfer easier, faster, and less stressful. REALTORS®who earn this certification know to work with active duty military buyers and sellers, as well as veterans. Seeing the excitement of new homeowners at the closing table and knowing I was a part of making their home ownership dream come true is one of the best feelings in the world!

Melissa (Missy) Mathis

Melissa McIntosh

I am a native Polk County resident. I grew up in beautiful Winter Haven where my father was a real estate broker and owned and operated a Century 21 franchise. It is no wonder I developed a love for helping people buy and sell their treasured homes at an early age. My career is like a multi-colored patchwork quilt. i have been a concert promoter, radio personality on WCIE (now known as the Joy FM), Direct sales rep., sold and financed pre-owned luxury vehicles, even owned/operated a pre-school. However, one of the most rewarding opportunities to come my way has certainly been as a Realtor. I genuinely love helping people find the perfect place to call home. Travis Redder

I have lived in Lakeland since 1998 when my family moved down from Grand Rapids, MI. Before real estate, I was a full-time college student and I graduated from the University of South Florida on Dec. 16, 2005. When I graduated college, I didn’t know what I wanted to do. I noticed how crazy the real estate market was at the time and thought it would be a great idea to get my license. I quickly realized that real estate is not as easy as it is portrayed. At the same time, we experienced the real estate bust of 2006. However, I stuck with it and worked hard. I am so glad that I did now I work with all kinds of buyers and sellers. Whether you are selling your home, buying a new one, or both, I am the man for the job! Also, in my spare time, I love to go fishing, boating, traveling, workout at the gym, playing and watching sports! Go Bulls! Go Bucs! Go Rays! Go Blue! Go Bolts!

Trent Redder

Born in Michigan and moved to Lakeland 20 years ago. Before I made the jump into Real Estate I was a law enforcement officer, however, my older, Travis Redder, talked me into becoming a Realtor at S&D Real Estate just like him. My goal is to help people sell their home and find the perfect home that suits them and their family’s needs.

Cyndi Reina

I graduated from Winter Haven Highschool and moved to Lakeland in 1993 to attend Southeastern University. During my college years I worked at JCPenney and, after graduation, I was selected for the management trainee program and was promoted to department manager in 1999. After a brief period in the Naples/Fort Myers area, I returned to Polk County and accepted a position in the Financial Aid Department at Southeastern University. These jobs, in addition to my time doing phone sales and account management with the dog training company, fostered my love for people and further refined my customer service skills. My first job was in retail, selling shoes at a full-service, free-standing shoe store in which I had the privilege to listen to what people needed and wanted. Listening, relating and problem-solving are skills I utilize every day as a real estate agent. What matters most when it comes to selling or buying a home is YOU; what YOU need; what YOU want and the plan that will get YOU there. Working with my husband, Vince, is a privilege and natural fit for us because we have worked alongside one another for so many years. We each bring our strengths to each transaction, be it selling or buying. In addition to helping YOU buy your home or sell your house, I also enjoy the challenge of homeschooling our children. When I am not doing either of those, I love spending time with my family outside hiking, fishing or camping as well as reading.

Vince Reina

A second-generation Sicilian immigrant, born and raised in Ybor City, Tampa, I moved to Lakeland in 1988 two years after I started my first businesses Southland Dog Training. That business eventually became the largest non-franchised dog training company in the State of Florida. We closed the business in 2016 two years after I become a licensed Realtor. Growing that business helped hone my marketing and sales skills as well as sharpen my problem-solving abilities. I have twelve years of internet marketing experience that I bring to every listing I take. I am a planner at heart and when it comes to business I hate blind spots so I am always looking to see a problem before it becomes a problem. I enjoy helping people achieve their real estate goal as well as building relationships with my customers. One thing you will see when we work together is that I will tell you what you need to hear NOT what you want to hear, even if it means we won’t do business together. My wife Cyndi and I are The Reina Team at S&D Real Estate Services, we work together, homeschool and run our home together. We are with each other 24/7/365 and we do well. When I’m not working I love to go fishing, hunting, hiking or camping.
